The World Trade Center Collapse Conspiracy

notible article

Snipped from newsvine.com.

Okay guys, I’m not into conspiracy theories but this article really caught my attention. First of all, it is written by a mechanical engineer from the U.K. who I wouldn’t think would have any particular agenda. And, second of all, even though the math is way above my head, it looks real. For any of you mechanical engineers or physicists out there, maybe you can share your knowledge on this subject. This has to do with why the total collapse of the World Trade Center Towers goes against basic physics laws. But I guess, the real question is, if the towers didn’t collapse from the impact/explosion of the airplanes, what did make them collapse and exactly who was behind it?

“A Sound Way to Turn Heat into Electricity”

notible article

Snipped from Newswise.com.

Now this is what I am talking about when it comes to innovative thinking. All sane people should, by now, understand our dire need for alternative energy. America does not look like it is going to half its energy consumption any time soon, so instead of lessening our use, we can use an alternative to the century old fossil fuels. Here is Orest Symko, a University of Utah physics professor, who has “developed small devices that turn heat into sound and then into electricity.” If this science is actually feasible it could mean many, many things when it comes to free energy.

Is the Speed of Light Really Constant?

fractal.jpgHere is a little thought experiment for you. If the speed of light is a constant 186,000 miles per second, can you theoretically catch up to a light beam? Well, if you are a fan of Einstein, then you would know you can’t through the theory of special relativity. Why? Hmmm, the short of the really long is… you can’t because at the speed of light, an object’s mass is infinite. When something has an infinite amount of mass, it takes an infinite amount of energy to accelerate it. Since there is no such thing as an infinite amount of energy, the speed of light is impossible, for at least anything that is a bradyon, a particle with mass. Luxons are the name for the particles that make up light or photons. They are massless particles, and therefore, can travel at the speed of light… or itself or… Well, you get the idea, right? Okay, so here is my next question. Since scientists say that the speed of light is constant, can you at least make it seem slower relative to your own speed?

Supernova: A Glimpse Into Our Very Distant Past

supernova.jpgThe brightest supernova ever seen was recorded by NASA’s Chandra X-ray Observatory. The buzz around NASA is this was the king of all supernova (at least in our observable universe) and 100 times more violent than the average supernova. The star that exploded was an estimated 150 times more massive than our own sun, which is probably “as massive as a star can get.” If you want to try to get your head around the size of the explosion, compare it to atomic bomb the size of earth exploding within a balloon filled with explosive gas. What’s exciting about this new discovery is it gives us a glimpse into our Universe’s early years.

Einstein and the TAKS Test

einstein_head.jpgAs we all know, Einstein was a genius. However, those who unsuccessfully tried to mold him into a product of the typical assembly line, education system found that he was impossible to control. He was impertinent, a nonconformist and especially had a distaste for dogma. These are all the things that would ensure failure in our current “No Child Left Behind” education system. I dare say that if Einstein had been required to take the TAKS test during his time, we might be surprised as to what the result would have been.

Invisiblity Cloak: Science Fiction or Science Future?

davidduke.jpgEver wanted to be able to just disappear? Was invisibility one of your favorite super powers? Well, this may be more future than fiction. Scientists have just demonstrated a rudimentary example of how to create an invisibility cloak. How you may ask? Well, great question, I will try to explain.

Cosmic Mysteries Solved With Parallel Universes? Part Two

Big Bang Singularity Solved?

In part one of this article we went over the history of the Big Bang, the holes in the theory and how scientists have tried to piece together an answer to the mysteries. Let’s go over some of the basics.

We have discovered all kinds of evidence for a theory that explains how the Universe was created. Background radiation, red-shifted galaxies and an ever-expanding space, all point to a Universe that was created in a single point with an extraordinary burst of energy. But, some problems come along with this theory. Even with all the scientists in the world trying to figure out the math to this theory, it always falls apart right before we get to the point of the bang, also called the singularity.

Cosmic Mysteries Solved With Parallel Universes? Part One

Big Bang Singularity Solved?

With all the world’s smartest physicists and mathematicians working to solve the decades long mystery of the big bang, there is still unanswerable questions. Before, during and a fraction of a second after is a complete mystery that has the entire scientific community in a race to figure it all out. But, what if we are trying to figure out a puzzle with only a portion of the pieces? This theory will cover the hypothetical ‘what if’. What if there are parallel universes that are hiding the missing pieces of the puzzle? But, before we go there, let’s go over some cosmic history.
