Bush’s Ethanol Blunder Continues

Why feed people when you
can make money?

Yes, growing corn crops for ethanol was a decision made by ex-President Bush and was a blunder then; one that is getting worse today. This will be soon discovered when you shop for food or when out of work, and the food banks are now empty. Ha, food stamps? Well… You already went through those? Brace yourself for round two.

Why? The greater demand for corn and the resulting higher animal feed costs have sent meat prices soaring. Corn used as an ingredient in most foods means higher costs of all foods in general for you and me. There’s more, there’s the extermination of livestock that can no longer be fed due to the high prices of feed. So? Well, the corn-fuel farmers are primed for another step up in production, mandated by law.

By now, you’ve heard of how we-all have polluted our water supply and oceans with minute amounts of dumped, down-the-toilet, prescription meds like, for example, psychotic medication. When you drink tap water or bottled water, you may be drinking such goody traces of Methadone, Klonopin, Thorazine, Risperdal, Zolof, Wellbutrin, Lithium and all-the-rest, even aspirin. Well, I think there’s more than that. Much more than that to worry about. Something that has additionally come about recently.

Frogs, Bats Eat Dead, Poisoned Bees and Die?

Snipped from FROG MATTERS.

YOUR Stan Nodvik says, maybe the frogs and bats are dying because they are eating the dead bees that in themselves were first poisoned. But, alas, scientists can’t find any dead bees to study to discover much of anything about bees. Autopsies need dead bodies. I say, there aren’t any because they’ve been eaten. It’s my theory. However and moreover, a study at U. of Pgh. has discovered that the poison killing frogs is malathion. Great, but what about the bees? That’s what interests me.
