It seems as though another company is involved in more human rights abuses, and this time, it is really disgusting.
This is why you don’t let capitalism and free market operate with no regulation, oversight or accountability. Corporations are not people, so we can’t govern them as if they were individuals. They need stricter governance and regulation. If not, they end up doing what Shell did or worse.
I guess I won’t be buying from Exxon or Shell now. Here is a small portion of the article:
