Anti-Obama has turned into stop-Obama for the Republicans. Can they not see what will follow if Obama’s plans for our recovery fail?
Most likely what will happen is anarchy — revolution! What can one expect when the majority of people in the United States will no longer have jobs or shelter or adequate food or hope? Things are only getting worse each day. Look at what is happening right now to the losers of the duel for the available few jobs between the just-graduated and the can’t-retire folks? More frustration and anger for those without any hope of regular paychecks!
There will — not perhaps will but — be a change in our government. What kind of change? You tell me!
Oh, you all say, there’ll never be a revolution in this country. Hey, there already has been one called the American Revolution which founded the present government and its current constitution and bill of rights.
And today with our sorry economy, guess what? Wait, I’ll tell you. There is an ending in sight for the meltdown of this woe-be-gone economy. Guess what that ending can mostly likely become? That’s right! A new government.
Our country was on the verge of a second revolution, really almost in arms against authority, when FDR generated plans to save the country that worked. His proposals edged that horrible economy of the 30’s out of the Great Depression, which was followed by the post-WWII boom that led to our once-successful economy. Successful until today.
(By the way, blame the failure and meltdown of our present economy on Greed, one of the seven deadly sins.)
Wake up! We are not in a recession right now; we are in a depression right now.
I hate the Republicans for thwarting our country’s way out of this mess. For thwarting Obama’s way out of this mess. It’s the only way out of this mess that’s been proposed. Obama has generated proposals that have a good chance of success.
Oh yes, there will be a pay-back time for the Republicans. The Republican congress will have to face the music someday — maybe the death march music of a nation — thanks to them. The Republicans will have killed the United States.
Let’s not kid ourselves; a revolution could happen in this country because of our depression-era economy. It has happened before elsewhere; for example, did not the communist Soviet Union fall with a quiet revolution when their economy went bust?
No one, as I see it, wants the inevitable dissolution of the United States, to happen. I call upon, especially at this time the anti-Obama Republicans, to pull together behind our President, our leader.
Hey, Republican members of Congress, we don’t want another revolution! Now do we?
