From A. Lincoln to B. Obama?

“I shot the sheriff and…” …and just how does that song from the ‘70’s go? …or was it from the ‘60’s? …and why years later, even today, it makes drug addicts, especially, nervous whenever they hear its lyrics?

There’s a new refrain going around these United States, not a song yet, and I hope it never becomes a song.

“Oh, they was just dissin’, those two skinhead guys.”

Sure. Has there ever been an on-the-spur-of-the-moment assassination? How much time did L. H. Oswald spend in plotting K’s assassination? Don’t they all get together and conspire first? Then 86 their victim?

Even in death, the Death-to-U rebels seem to continue to conspire. After Hussein was put down, when no one was around me, I once googled up dead people — photos of people who were hanged, how they would look especially at the execution of one or more people hung together or several hung in a row. Their brain is dead in about 3 to 8 minutes, followed by the body then dead in about 20 minutes. And the executed-by-hanging seem to be leaning, their heads sideways, to each other to continue on with their plotting.

Abe Lincoln’s “assassination in 1865 was the first presidential assassination in U.S. history and made him a martyr for the ideal of national unity.” [Wikipedia]

The magic numbers for those two plot-to-kill-Obama skinheads? Certainly 14, but 88? 88 I don’t know. Okay, but 14 is a symbolic number for a day in history, I guess, because Lincoln’s assassination took place on Good Friday, April 14, 1865 … took place on Good Friday, April 14, 1865 … on Good Friday, April 14, 1865 … [echo]

Yes, the date of Lincoln’s assassination still echoes down thru the decades. And J. W. Booth? The killer was chased down like rabid dog and shot to death in a barn. And yes, there were assassination warnings for Lincoln. Many.

Times have changed for assassinationana. The suicide bombers — now that mystifies me. One wants to be around after the deed to see the results, for the self-glory. But I don’t think one sees any glory when dead, too. However, if one believes in an afterlife, doesn’t that mean that when you cross over //or blow over// into the Great Big There and what? And you can look down and, as dead, reap the self-glory? The problem for Christians are the seven commandments which should apply over There, too. Other religions?

Could it be a split-moment of action for a split-moment of self-glory? And…Oh Hell, let’s end this morbid sojourn into Philosophy.

How does that song go? Oh, hell yeah, “I fought the law and the law won…”

I read yesterday’s news headline about the Secret Service catching those two skinheads and nipping their assassinate-Obama plot in the bud and I felt a great unease as any American would feel. I saved the news story but haven’t read the entire story yet. I can’t deal with that scary stuff right now. The important thing is that the Secret Service caught the two white supremacists. But if you want to read about what I call the 14/88 plot to do in Obama, click on
