McCain/Palin: Accessories to Possible Assassination

Everyone that will read this probably knows that I am obviously an Obama fan, and may think this is just another smear tactic to make the GOP’ers look bad (ad hominem), but this does not take a large logical leap to conclude. Sarah Palin and John McCain are not doing anything to curve the chanting of threats to Obama’s political reputation, health, life and his families lives.
If you are clueless as to what I am writing about, please go here to watch someone in the crowd calling Obama a “terrorist!”, here to watch a similar act, except the operative word is “treason” and last but not least, here where someone actually hollers “Kill Him!”.
What many people are not getting is this is where the the belligerent idea can easily snowball into a real threat. It is a fact that humans, like any other animal, do not like change, and will do whatever necessary to prevent it. That is why Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated, John F. Kennedy, Abraham Lincoln … The list goes on. All of this people represented change to this society.
Now when you have major heads of state, or highly regarded TV personalities, characterizing Obama as a terrorist, a Muslim or a pedophile, you get people that are sociopathic enough to think that they need to rid the country of such a threat. And, by doing so, he/she will be patriotic.
To be honest, it reminds me the old lynching stories. Some well known white guy would start blaming some poor black guy for the town’s problems or irrationally blame him for some murder, and the white crowd would ban together and kidnap and hang the black guy on rhetoric alone. Who needs a trail, representation or fairness, right?
The reason I name McCain and Palin as accessories is the very fact that they are not only creating the damning mischaracterizations, but are not doing anything to stymie the radical and threatening outbursts that follow, and by doing so are just as guilty as the ones saying it. They should hold themselves responsible for reprimanding such irresponsible comments.
What about Obama and Biden? Well, its funny how you only here Obama and Biden being as respectful as possible, and if they make a damaging comment, they do it with class and objectivity. Neither of them would stand for people in crowds hollering out, “Kill them!”
Then you have the Media just soaking up McCain and Palin’s smears like a thirsty sponge. You don’t here anything about Obama, and especially the red headed step child of the media, Biden. All you here all day long is how John and Sarah are calling out Obama for being such a horrible guy, how he is the reason for the economic problems and how he “palls around with terrorists”. This will just add flames to the already hot racial and ideological fire that resides in the middle of this nation.
You want these people to be the leaders of the so called “free world”? People that are willing to win at any cost, even if it is threatening to Obama and his family? America is the country of hypocrisy, irony and arrogance. If they, the McPalin’s, win, I will lose the small amount of belief I have in this god-for-saken country.

Cerebrl — You called this one right. May it never happen. I too say this nation doesn’t need McCain and Palin as cheerleaders of evil.
