Barack Obama made a speech a couple of days ago that rocked the minds of those that truly understand our present societal problems. Those that have the perceptual abilities to see past the bullshit and petty distractions are gearing up for a new wave of public discussion. I strongly feel that Senator Obama is the leader, the inspiration this country has needed for decades.
Now, I know I have been absent on this blog for quite some time now, but I have been busy. I am going to school full time (studying medicine), working part time as well as trying to change Texas’ political landscape for the better. If you are asking yourself, “What are you doing politically?” Well, I am the delegate chair for my precinct, and I am doing my damnedest to get my areas as charged up about Mr. Obama as I can. I am talking to people, wearing my Obama Wear, calling and emailing other delegates and working with some of Obama’s local campaign representatives.Â
Anyways, I am back to make a point! This speech he made cannot go unnoticed, cannot go unheard and cannot go undiscussed. This is our time to stand up for what has been needing to rise out of the shadows and into the light to air-out with the rest of America’s dirty laundry. Race and racism, religion and petty politics has been ignored, hidden and internalized for far too long. It is time we talk. And talk is what Mr. Obama did.
Listen to this inspiring speech and tell me what you think. Enjoy!
