The World Trade Center Collapse Conspiracy

Okay guys, I’m not into conspiracy theories but this article really caught my attention. First of all, it is written by a mechanical engineer from the U.K. who I wouldn’t think would have any particular agenda. And, second of all, even though the math is way above my head, it looks real. For any of you mechanical engineers or physicists out there, maybe you can share your knowledge on this subject. This has to do with why the total collapse of the World Trade Center Towers goes against basic physics laws. But I guess, the real question is, if the towers didn’t collapse from the impact/explosion of the airplanes, what did make them collapse and exactly who was behind it?
To really understand the physics of momentum transfer, you will have to dig through the highly technical analysis presented by Gordon Ross, a mechanical engineer in the U.K., entitled Momentum Transfer Analysis of the Collapse of the Upper Storeys of WTC1. What this article offers is a highly technical but seemingly credible analysis of the physics of what happens when a steel frame structure collapses into floors beneath it.
Ross’s basic argument is that most observations given of the collapse only take into account the transfer momentum from the falling floors at the moment of impact on the one floor below not taking into account the floors below that which act as a unit in concert with the impacted floor absorbing the stresses.
This is the way the article describes what Ross’s findings were.
This means that if an entire floor of the World Trade Center were removed instantly and entirely from the structure at the level of the 1WTC plane impact, with no intervening materials - a scenario in fact far more aggressive than that encountered in the actual building collapse - the building structure remaining beneath that section would be able to stop the fall of the descending section of the building in less than a second before it came to a rest atop the remaining section with relatively minimal crumpling of structural steel absorbing the fall.
This is not the scenario that was encountered on September 11, 2001 at the World Trade Center, apparently. Apparently there was some factor - unknown at this point, despite some intelligent conjectures - that did not allow floors beneath the falling section to acts as a unit to provide a transfer of momentum to floors beneath the impact. Moreover, in order to produce the progressive and complete collapse of 1WTC there would have had to have been successive and sequential failures of floors to interrupt the normal transfer of momentum to floors beneath the remaining structure.
Based on this science it appears as if the only way that the towers could have fallen completely is if there had been a complete and systematic elimination of structural integrity throughout the buildings that would allow falling sections to continue their acceleration unopposed by material that could absorb the acceleration via the transfer of momentum.
Or to put it another way: steel frame buildings just don’t fall down on their own.

A reinactment of The World Trade Center destruction via a computer model should determine whether or not there can be a collapse conspiracy. The original construction plans of the Twin Towers must be around somewhere and their specs can be used by computer programers and graphic designers for this purpose to determine if these two steel buildings actually did fall down floor upon floor from the aerial onslaught. If so, no conspiracy!

Hey I’ve been out of town, did I miss anything good?
I think the missing piece in this puzzle is the burning jet fuel, which burns slower than gasoline, meaning it had time to set anything in the building on fire. They claim that jet fuel alone is not enough to destroy the steel but once everything else catches fire it was apparently hot enough to destroy the steel on several floors.
Is it possible that there was some big conspiracy? Sure its possible. I’d just rather stick with things we have evidence for.
I’m not a conspiracy theorist either Tim but it sure is funny how both buildings collapsed perfectly. It was as though they were rigged for demolition. To get a building to come down vertically with as little collateral damage as possible is the goal of demolition. And, that is exactly what happened at the WTC1 and 2. The perfect symmetry of the collapse was amazing. It’s interesting.
I know you’re not, I didn’t mean it that way. And it is weird and I’ve often wondered about it. Ok just to indulge, this is my conspiracy deleted version of one of the theories.
What if it was “pulled,” is it possible that they pre-wire modern sky-scrapers so that in case of a major disaster they can collapse the building with minimal collateral damage? If they did the buildings would have fallen the way they did and obviously they wouldn’t have told people, they would have blamed the planes, built in scape goat.
The original had that the Government wired it just days before which just doesn’t seem possible.
the problem with my version is I can’t imagine an engineer being ok with the idea of have tons of explosives in their building, you wouldn’t want to have an accident with that system.
I highly doubt we will ever know for sure what happened that day. Which is why I choose to fight against what has happened since that day.

The Do, Re, Me, Fa…Test is Next in the latest testing. You are to sing the musical scale in high notes, “do re me fa…” before a wine glass. If the glass shatters, you are bared from flying and from boarding a plane ever again. Gawk! Gawk!

The floors below the impact zone were not even theoretically weakened by fire. Even so, a fire-weakened impact floor would still offer some resistence to the falling upper stories. The study demonstrates that “even if” the impact floors offered no resistence at all, and “even if” the full force of the impact was applied to the single first floor below the impact zone, which is not credible, the impact of the upper floors on that floor would still not be sufficient to cause the lower floors to collapse. In addition to those factors, several other known factors that would reduce the impact were not even considered. Yet the results of the study revealed that there was insufficient energy to create the scenario of the official explanation.
A quick google of You Tube videos will demonstrate that there were multiple explosions in all 3 WTC buildings, as heard on the videos, reported by hundreds of eye witnesses and survivors, and many news reporters on the scene.
Additionally, the videos of the buildings is a picture of builings exploding, not of “collapsing.”
The case for inside information and acquiescence if not outright participation has been made. It’s timme to go to trial.
The best case against the conspiracy theories I’ve ever heard went something like this.
“A conspiracy of this magnitude would have required forethought, careful planning, and precise execution, none of these are things I can accuse this administration of.”
