Ever Wonder What Bush Would Get On A Report Card?

gradeontest.jpgIf you are like me, you wonder where all the accountability went with our country, and in particular, with our government. Remember back in the day when you were in school, and it all came down to your final report card? If you messed around too much, it would show on your report card, and that would lead to an ass whooping if it wasn’t good enough. Well, don’t you wish our government had that same accountability? You aren’t alone, and an intellectual that is a professor of American foreign policy at Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies named Zbigniew Brzezinski graded our last three presidents, and it isn’t pretty. And, if anyone can judge their performance, it is Brzerzinski.

Here is the report card that was taken out of his fantastic book named Second Chance: Three Presidents and the Crisis of American Superpower, a must read if you want to know anything about our history of foreign politics, and our future as the world’s superpower:

Wow, I’m glad I am not taking his class! So what do you think? Is he pretty close to reality? If you want to know why and how he got to these conclusions, then I say read this fantastic book. It will only arm you for the next time you get into a political debate with a Neocon or a loyal Bushie.

I have been telling my kids that they are lucky to be living through Bush 2. When they reach my age, they will be able to say that they lived through the years of the worst President this country has ever had. How many of us remember Millard Filmore or Ulysses Grant or Herbert Hoover (Taft too perhaps). I think Brzezinski is spot on here. I just hope the Bushies have not done so much damage that we can’t recover.

School’s not out yet, Fred, for the year. Fasten your seat belt as we ride out Bush’s last semesters. Most likely there will be more than just two F’s.

Can you make anything lower than a F?

Remember that little quote by one of our stellar generals during the Vietnam war in which he said “we will bomb them back into the stone age”. Well, I think what goes around comes around but in this case there’s a little twist.

Bush is failing so badly that we will bomb “ourselves” back into the stone age. This will be accomplished by Bush’s completely idiotic, senseless and out of control military, imperialistic spending which is not only bankrupting us monetarily but morally.

    Thanks Bush.

  4. […] These three measures served as a litmus test of America’s ability to lead. Brzezinski also takes into account the personal leadership styles of each. The results for this presidential report card are as follows (if you would like to see the full report card for each president see here): […]
