Top Five Strange Judicial Oddities

flaggavel.jpgStaying true to our mission of informing the public and now that the scandals are erupting almost daily regarding our fine judicial branch and its perpetrators, I would like to point out some strange, and basically not commonly known, oddities of this most illustrious branch of government. For the sake of brevity for which the judicial system is not known for because lawyers are involved, I have condensed these oddities into the top five. They are…

Update: The Conspiracy Behind Hidden Taxes

pay.jpgI recently wrote an article about the hidden taxes in our extremely complex telephone bills. In this article, I listed one of the taxes called Telecommunications Infrastructure Fund Reimbursement and Recovery. Now, mind you, the name in itself doesn’t tell you anything and there’s a reason for that. It appears that Texans were to pay for $1.5 billion in broadband infrastructure for public education, libraries and hospitals in rural areas. The fund draws its revenue from a 1.25 percent fee on phone bills that was supposed to expire after 10 years. Well, guess what?…

VIDEO — Obama… 1984!

obamaapple.jpgWell, I could not help myself. I saw this video and thought I would share it with everyone. This is an Obama spoof ad that was created by an anonymous wonderboy. Here is a cognitive performance test. Take the test and submit your answers in the comment section below. For this test to work correctly, you must answer swiftly and don’t spend hours or days trying to think of the answer. The original test was done in person at a New Yorks City’s Pennsylvania Station with random people. Have fun!

Holy War: A “Non-Believer’s” Point of View — Introduction

religion4.jpg

The Intention That Drives This Article Series

This article series is not about religion itself or whether I think of it as good or bad for society. It is to help bring to light why “believers” and “non-believers” may never be able to agree to disagree. In my life-long quest to find the holy grail of knowledge, I have come across many people and many different perspectives. None of what I have found is a more sensitive topic as religion. Out of all my years of dealing with disagreement, I would like to offer a way for these two schools of thought to be able to lay down their rhetorical weapons.
