The Secret to Wealth and Abundance: Part VI

money.jpgIn this series of articles, I left you the last time with an explanation of visualizations and how they provide the second tool in your quest for wealth and abundance.  Today, I would like to talk to you about the third tool in your quest, and this is self-confirmation.  But first, I would like to talk about why the toolkit works in the first place.  The theory behind why the toolkit works is that there is a certain order of creation.   Every manifestation of reality begins in thought and progresses through a path of unfoldment with each step in the process being dependent on the other and in a certain order.

This is because before you can truly manifest the purposeful reality you desire, you have to prepare the actions you will take by clearly outlining the path.  Yogi Beara once said, “If you don’t know where you’re going, you may not get there.”  Anyone can take off in a direction and end up ’someplace’ but if you want to end up at a particular ‘place’, you have to first consult your compass.  Most people do not focus their intent.  They work like crazy and then wonder why they aren’t getting anywhere.  This is because they are not tending to their inner compass.  This inner compass is your thoughts and this is where everything happens. All creation begins with thought.  There are even those who believe the Big Bang may have been created by thought. Thought is energy in motion, and action is material in motion.  But to get from energy to material, you have to begin with thought and then move to the expression of your reality.  Understanding this link, is paramount to creating the reality you want.

So, thought is first.  What’s next?  Once you have thought about what you want, it will stay there going round and round until you bring forth the idea into expression.  The first expression is ‘word’.  When you start talking about what it is you want, you are transitioning this energy in motion from the realm of ideas to the realm of possibilities.  Speaking about your desires, brings them to life.  Have you ever noticed how once you start talking about something, it seems easier, more real?  That’s because you are molding your ideas into something tangible or material. They are no longer daydreams or wishful thinking.  They are real just because you are making them real by talking about them.

This is the first expression of your reality. The second expression being action.  I will speak about action in my next article.  But now, I would like to elaborate a little further about verbal expression or the second step to reality creation.  The first step as we have mentioned above involves ‘thinking’.  This is the realm of affirmations and visualizations.  Now, we will talk about the next step — self-confirmation.  This is a tool of verbal expression that allows you to confirm out loud your intent.   Self-confirmation allows you to phrase your idea in a way that confirms that you can actually follow through with it.  It builds the framework around your idea.  Self-confirmation puts the meat on the bun so to speak.  It creates the path by outlining it and states to the universe that you mean business.  We can all sit around all day dreaming about what you want.  But unless you state to the universe that you are serious, that’s all it will be — daydreaming.  So, to do this, state your purpose to anyone and everyone who will listen.

In my particular case, I am very fortunate to have a son to whom I am very close.  Before I venture out on any ideas in my head, I run it by him first.  I have so many different and sometimes crazy ideas spinning around in my head, but every time I have consulted with him, it makes them come to life.  This blog, for instance, was just an idea I had after reading an article about blogging.  I had been thinking about it for some time but I hadn’t told anyone.  Then one day, I said to my son that I would really like to give blogging a try and why and how, etc.  And, voila!  It came to life.  It is an amazing process. But had I not verbalized it, it never would have gotten out of my head. It would still be there going round and round — just energy in motion.  I like to think of self-confirmations as the birthing blanket of ideas.

Now, I don’t know if you have noticed, but I phrased this verbal expression as self-confirmation.  There is a reason for this.  I feel that just verbally expressing an idea may not bring it to life as you would expect.  If you verbalize something in a way that is not confirming, you may set up a self-defeating mechanism that says to yourself, “who are you kidding, you can’t do this”.  That’s why I call it ’self-confirmation’.  You are confirming to yourself the possibility and real probability that your idea will work.  If stated any other way, you not only set yourself up but it will set up others to shoot your ideas down.  There are always those ‘dream stealers’ out there who love nothing better than to tell you it can’t be done.  So, when you express to the world your idea, you express or frame it in a way that confirms its success.  That is self-confirmation.  With it, you are confirming to the world your creation of the life you desire.  And, wealth and abundance will follow. It is the universal order of creation.

Next time we will talk about the final step to wealth and abundance creation and that is action.  See you then.
