The EPA Abandoning Lead Regulation

clearsky.jpgIn surfing the net yesterday, I came across an article that struck close to home for me. It is entitled EPA Set to Abandon 30 Years of Air Quality Control. If you have read any of my other articles on our blog concerning TXU Energy pushing 11 new coal fired power plants in Texas, then you will understand my concern with heavy metal poisoning. I am currently undergoing my second round of chelation therapy for lead and mercury toxicity. So, I am mad as hell about this news today!

Mind Performance Hacks

x-ray.jpgNow I generally don’t read Men’s Vogue magazine but there was a picture of my hero on the cover and I couldn’t resist.  So, I opened it up and started to read about this amazing man.  His presence on the screen is like none I can ever remember.  I believe this is due to his incredible logos and pathos appeal at the same time.  His pace is frenetic and keeps your pulse pounding and your heart soaring with an equal mix of pain and elation.  So, who am I talking about…Kiefer Sutherland of course.  And what does he have to do with mind control?

No More Lies About Global Warming!

exxon.jpgThe Huffington Post published a story today regarding Exxon’s quarter-page advertorial in Thursday’s New York Times. It seems that Exxon can’t quite get a grip on the fact that since they launched a perpetual propaganda campaign for over 10 years to deceive the public about global warming, the public is mad as hell.  But now it appears that Exxon is taking the same deceptive and manipulative track as the tobacco conglomerates took in its deliberate moves to keep damaging evidence of tobacco use from the public.  What Exxon is saying now is that its position on global warming has been “misunderstood”.  Can you believe that?

Why Flex-Fuel Is America’s Next Biggest Blunder — Part One

gasearth.jpgNow that our wonderful, insightful government is finally saying that global warming is a real issue, this administration is making another huge mistake by promoting Flex-Fuel which completely falls short as a solution to the gravitas of our foreign oil dependency. Before I go into my explanation of this statement, I will lay down some baseline facts of what Flex-Fuel is and how it can be hypothetically implemented into our energy needs.

Ethanol, the major alcohol in use today, is brewed from corn, rice, wheat, barley, potatoes, sugar beets, and sugar cane. It is mainly produced from the non-edible parts of our corn crops. Many vegetative producers are realizing that their odds and ends can be converted into ethanol as our future fuel for profit.

Are Extramarital Affairs Just Evolutionary Chemistry?

wedding.jpgEver wondered why you feel different when you fall in love and how addicting that feeling is?  My mind was wandering this morning thinking about how ‘chemical’ we really are and how if certain chemicals are either inadequate or excessive, they can result in disease or death.  Or, on the other spectrum, if they happen to be the chemicals of love, we experience pleasure and euphoria.  So, if our feelings for another person are merely chemical reactions, then how can we expect to control them?

Dear Hillary: [Insert Peace of Mind]

hillary.jpgWhen I caught Hillary on TV last Saturday all comfy on her flowered sofa announcing her plans to run for President, she made an offer that we have a ‘chat’. So I thought… hmmmm… I’ll take her up on it. So, I sent her this email. Let me know what you think of what I said to her and maybe what you would have said to her. Or better yet, tell her yourself.

Dear Hillary:

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to post my views about our wonderful country and where we are headed. I am extremely upset by the current administration’s agenda of promoting big oil and corporate interests.
