VIDEO — Are Immigrants Ruining Our Future?

immigration.jpgThere has been heated debate lately about immigration in the U.S. There are basically two camps of thought. One is that immigrants fill jobs at companies that Americans can’t or won’t and provide pressure relief for third world countries without opportunity. The other is that if we continue to let immigrants come into the country at the current rate of approaching 1,000,000 per year for legal immigrants and another 1,000,000 for illegal immigrants, ‘immigrants will foreclose on our future’.

US Policy: Self-Determination or Imperialism?

wethepeople.gifThis is something that I have been thinking about for quite some time and I have to get it off my chest. This has to do with self-determination vs imperialism. Of course, this is in reference to the U.S. and its policies on the world stage. I have always argued that pre-emptive war brings no peace. Matter of fact, war in and of itself, has done nothing but impose someone’s idea of what is right on someone elses, or what I refer to as imperialism.

VIDEO - Even 8 Year Olds Are Speaking Out!

8yearold.jpgThere are many heated arguments of whether this is right or wrong. Well, mainly it is O’Reilly getting upset, and he is including everyone that is crazy enough to join his ranting. I think everyone needs to take a break from their moral high horse and just laugh at something that is just plain funny. If you really think about it, they are just words. It is up to the individual to place a meaning to them. So, just sit back and enjoy an 8 year old telling it how it is about O’Reilly, Bush, religion and more. Enjoy!

The Secret to Wealth and Abundance: Part II

100bill3.jpgI left you the last time in Part I with a discussion regarding “purpose” that talks about the importance of finding your purpose before you can live it. This next discussion is about my favorite subject in regards to wealth and abundance, and it will take some out of the box thinking. So, sit back, relax and take your brain out of gear and park your mind in the limitless possibilities of ‘intentions’.

Before we talk about intentions, I would like to discuss how we arrive at our decisions about our intentions. Have you ever thought about how strong negative associations are? Have you ever wondered why they can cause such havoc in our lives? In an article in Life Science, it states that “emotions are embedded in our brain when it comes to making decisions”. Wow! So emotions rule the brain. That’s important. In other words, how stongly I ‘feel’ about something will influence the decisions I make, regardless of what is logical. What does this mean to someone who is looking to create wealth and abundance in life? Read on and you’ll find out…

Crippling Unborn Children for Convenience

dwarfs.jpgI don’t know if anything gets under my skin like this article about designer babies being crippled for parents with disabilities. We have all heard about trying to create the perfect child by genetically designing an unborn child. Which could be a good thing, expecially if you may have a defective gene that could predispose a child to certain ailments, and you want to make sure your child does not inherent this gene.

Join Us In Creating a Better Tomorrow

windmills.jpgWith global warming blowing across our landscape and scientists warning of future catastophes, we are in a predicament about what to do regarding future energy needs. This is especially true of electric power plants due to the fact that they contribute the most to this very serious issue. According to Scientific American, in their Autumn, 2006 issue, the electric power sector accounted for nearly 72% of all U.S. greenhouse-gas emissions in 2004. Coal, which is the dirtiest of all fossil fuels, accounts for 50% of the U.S. electricity. There have been several articles posted on Blog4Brains concerning the aggresive push for more coal burning power plants in Texas. This is why this is such a huge concern in this country with many states, especially Texas, looking for more cheap electric energy but at what cost?
