Secret to Wealth and Abundance: Part I
In Part I of this series of articles, I will address the most important aspect of your life. This ’something’ will not only bring fulfillment and deep, personal rewards, but will enrich your life beyond your wildest dreams. This involves one of the most profound questions confronting mankind for eons of time. What makes this even more mysterious and confounding is that there is no manual or guidebook to help us. And it all has evolved from a single question.
This question is “why are we here”? To me this question goes to the very depth of our souls and asks a question that has been asked since the beginning of time. Religions have arisen and civilizations have been built around beliefs and faith from attempting to answer this age-old question. And there are many theories built upon great thinkers in science, physics, metaphysics, and philosophy that have come forward to answer this question. But from all the searching, theorizing and proselytzing, only one path to the answer to this question stands out above all the others…
And that path is You. You are the only one who has the answer to this question. The answer all along has been inside of you, not outside of you. It speaks to your purpose, the ‘reason you are here’, or as the French call it ‘raison d’etre’. This purpose can be elusive and difficult to discover out of the infinite possibilities that exist. As we discussed in the introductory article to this series, multiple probabilities and existences occur at the micro level in quantum physics. Perhaps there is a possibility from the infinite possibilities, that we can influence our macro reality in somewhat the same way. Through ‘intention’ by living our life with purpose, perhaps we can have an impact on how we create our lives.
I believe that this may be true especially when you begin to live your life according to your purpose. Purpose or destiny is what you, your Self or soul, desires to fulfill. When you close your eyes and think about what your purpose may be, when you visualize what brings happiness and joy to your life, if a deep seated emotion stirs within you, then you have found your purpose.
So, back to our original question…why are we here? I believe we are here to find out what our purpose is and to live it fully in every moment of the day. This is the first step to uncovering wealth and abundance. And when I speak of wealth and abundance, it is not money I speak of because money should not be your only goal. Living an abundant life will naturally flow from living your purpose. Wealth will flow because you will live a life of passion and commitment that comes directly from your soul creating within you a new definition of wealth. Your life will be moved by the daily commitment you make to living your purpose. And, because it brings you joy, the intent is focused, unrelenting and unstoppable and comes with rewards.
So once you have uncovered your purpose, then define your life around your purpose. Keep it in your thoughts every day. Visualize the manifestation of it in very real terms. Align your thoughts, words and actions with it in every moment. This becomes a powerful, creative force. And what will follow is your soul expressing itself. Your work is no longer a ‘job’. It becomes something you want to do, not something you have to do. Time will loose its control over you. You become truly alive, living in the moment, and celebrating each moment of the day.
If this was the way you were living your life, how would you now think of wealth and abundance? Would this be an ‘abundant’ life? How would you now define ‘wealth’? You may surprise yourself with how you look at life differently once you are living a life of purpose.
Now, I know, you say, “But I can’t quit my job. How will I pay my bills?” I understand completely where you are coming from. Discovering your purpose can be a little unsettling, and for most, sheer terror. I was one of those people. I quit a very high paying job to follow my passion. I finally realized that life was passing me by and I wasn’t doing what I truly wanted to do. In effect, I was miserable. Even my health was suffering greatly and that ended up being the biggest cost for not listening to myself.
But what I have realized by asking ‘the question’ is that I have always had this talent for writing and speaking. I got to use it occasionally with my past job (the only glimpses of joy I had). But I have never had the freedom to sit down every day and think only of bringing to the page the most wonderful stories of personal awakening and social commentary that would come to mind. I was too exhausted at the end of a very long day to even think of anything. I was basically dead inside, walking the walk of unconscious intent–making money just for the sake of making money. But with the harsh realization of my every day life and questioning why, I found the answer which was writing. So, I quit my job and here I am writing for you. It’s not the ‘doing’ of it that was hard. It was the ‘making the decision’ that was hard. But from asking the question and really doing some soul searching, the decision was made easy.
This is the question you will have to face yourself ultimately. Is your life worth your conscious intent of fulfilling your deepest desire? Or is your life merely planting your feet on that treadmill every day, unconsciously one foot in front of the other, step by step, hour after hour, trudging into oblivion? With all the infinite possibilities that exist, which one would you like to pursue, which one really turns you on?
The answer is and has always been right inside of you. Before you even begin to think of wealth and abundance, you should ask this question. But you have to be the one to ask it. You have to be courageous enough to ask it. Remember there is a reason you are reading this article. Think about that and don’t let yourself down. Follow your dreams and your passion will rise to the surface and incredible things will happen. But it is up to you. You are the creator of your life.
So when you do ask the question and you declare your purpose, your path will open up because according to the universal plan of life - “when one door closes, another opens”. This is due to the law of Free Will and infinite possibilities. This other door is your new possibility, created by you. All you have to do is step inside and it will lead you on your new path and to the next step. This next step involves developing your ‘intentions’ that align with your purpose.
My next article will go into detail about the secret to wealth and abundance through daily ‘intentions’. It is your intentions that create your reality and I will show you how to develop them and how to dynamically incorporate them into your life to create the wealth and abundance you desire.

Exactly my thoughts on the matter. It finally comes down to the question “Am I wasting my life?” Life is short–we have to be real and passionate about what we do. We all have infinte resources to share–this is why we are here. We can’t waste the opportunity.
